II I think , I shouldn't downvote this review for a device that doesn't support 2k or 4k, but if you compare the price of this device ($566-$739) to the Blackmagic Smartscope Duo 4k ($795.00) you're in the buy better off duo 4k this unit can't downscale 2k or 4k signals and all you get is black when a 2k signal is applied but I'm picking up a weaker color compared to no signal at all The aspect ratio It's also a bit odd on these monitors - it cuts off parts of the edge and the power connector is a bit pointless, after one shot I cut off the stem connector and soldered on a Neutrik 4-pin XLR because the power connector kept falling out of the back of the unit while it was in the rack.
