I needed a new headset for my HTC Incredible S, so I purchased this one. The sound quality is the same for me as it is in the headset, but the bass is not as strong (to be more specific, it is not as dense and appears to be more like the bass from small computer speakers). This is apparently because the smaller membrane area has an effect. There is a one-to-one correspondence between "big" acoustics and this phenomenon: the larger the membrane, the more even and gentle the bass. They have a respectable sound considering their stature.
