We needed a compact fan for the breakfast nook (it couldn't be too low and no wider than 30 inches). I searched hardware stores and found that their selection was limited and judging by the prices some fans appeared to have been handcrafted from gold by elves and supplied by unicorns. So I went to Revain to see what I could find. There are also many fans and… OOOOOOO! Westing house? Now tell me more! DH and I discussed the fans found and quickly agreed. It was a color that went well with the kitchen, AND it doesn't hang too low (about 12 1/4 inches IIRC) and is only 24 inches wide, well below our limit. Now he hangs in the kitchen and kicks. impressive amount of air. We can feel the wind from him 20 feet away, which I didn't expect. Maybe I have low expectations, or maybe Westinghouse knows what they're doing. The light is also perfect for this area so that's a bonus! This is a nice fan at a good price. If we need another small fan somewhere in the house, I'll definitely take one of these.
