Review on Bose QC2/QC15 Headphones Zipper Headband Cushion Pad Replacement Part by Ricky Rey

Not sure what I was thinking when I ordered a product with only 1 existing review. I guess the picture looked nice. This headband is not really designed for the QC15 as the fit, comfort, and looks are just not that nice.When I tried install the headband, I realized that the plastic board part of the headband was quite a bit wider than the original Bose ones. The band still wraps around the headphone bar, but it was unnecessarily wide. Also the cushion are quite uncomfortable. I simply did not like the shape of it, nor did it feel good to wear. Being the engineer that I am, I was able to salvage this by pulling out the plastic board that was attached to the cushion, and slipped the original Bose plastic board and cushion inside the band. This improved the comfort and fit by a lot. However since the zippers and top of the bands were quite high, they did not fit in the original headband clips. It just looks kind of awkward as the top of the headband sticks up a bit. I'll look into finding something to glue/tie the side down so it follows the headphone shape better.Look elsewhere if you want a replacement headband for a QC15. It does work but at the expense of poor comfort, fit, and looks.
