To be honest, I just don't understand how parents can do this to their child. There's no real way other than ripping the ever living hell out of the boot grips while you have your child's foot perfectly aligned in a position where their foot miraculously slides right in. And all while you're already breathing heavily. Place at high altitude with layered clothing and a thick snow jacket. The design of this shoe is terrible. It would be a lot easier if they just added a zipper or something, but no, there's no space and absolutely nothing. I literally tried to crush my daughter's leg and it turned out to be such a problem that I gave up. Every time I looked at these shoes, there was a serious conflict whether I wanted to start another fight not only with the shoes, but also with my daughter, since she was not used to the cold or wrapped up in winter overalls. And all. lonely. I just came to the conclusion that it wasn't worth it. This shoe has literally neglected my husband, daughter and I to such an extent that we unconsciously grimace whenever we catch a glimpse of it. I know it sounds so dramatic, but please don't waste your money like me.
