I love this dress! It's classy enough for work or a function like a funeral, but you can make it sexier for a date night thanks to the zipper front. I've never bought from this company and I have to admit, I was a little nervous about the sizing and was afraid the material might be itchy. Happy to say it fits great and the material was soft with an almost silky feel, not scratchy at all. I'm almost 5'9, weigh 153 lbs, and I ordered a large. I MAY have been able to order a medium, but I think it definitely would have hugged my hips too much to be elegant. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to that. But if you're nervous about buying this dress, don't be.
