My son started sleeping on his stomach and drooled a lot so his cheeks got very dry, red and cracked especially as he woke up wet cotton or flannel lay in the cold winter air. I figured this plush stuff would be lighter on his skin than wet cotton/flannel and that helps A LOT. I had to undress him to wash and within 2 days of sleeping on old sheets his cheeks were red and cracked again. Not only does this sheet fit my somewhat unique needs well, but it's great overall. I've washed and dried it several times and the color and material still look new and it's very soft. Best of all, the material doesn't shed or leave behind lint like many plush toys do! It fits very well with plenty of elastic around the crib mattress. I definitely recommend it!
