This is a great rope storage basket. I have a few of these because they are so versatile - I think they are in every bedroom and closet in my house. This one is very big and quite small. It's quite heavy and feels very sturdy. I like the built in handles as they seem to be more durable than the attached ones. I have a similar one which is perfect for storing blankets and bedspreads in my living room when the cold weather hits. Anyone can just grab one when needed, but I can roll them up and put them in a bin to keep them looking tidy when not in use. Of course, it can be used for a variety of purposes; toys, bedding, clothes, you name it. I can't believe I've ever used bags as they are so much nicer. I like to have one in the trunk of my car to stash a blanket and some essentials. The reason I ordered this is because I have a lot of floppy hats and need a way to store them, but hat boxes are very expensive. I thought one of them might be a good option. And so it is! The basket is large enough in diameter to hold all but the largest of my hats + large enough that I can stack six or seven of them on top of each other. I can keep them on a high shelf in my closet so they don't get in the way but don't get dusty in the winter. Of course there is no top, but I just covered it with a towel and the problem is solved! I ordered the blue version which is very attractive and will look great in my bedroom if I decide to use it for something else later. It can be folded and hidden when not in use. The basket is of excellent quality and costs $17.49. This price is practically a steal and I'll probably get at least one more in a different color.
