The installation hardware that comes with this towel rail is poorly designed. The holes in the mounting piece are larger than the screws provided (first photo). Even if you install it with drywall anchors, the towel rail isn't strong and will wobble on the wall. I drilled two small holes in the fasteners larger for the screws (second photo). When I did this (and only used those two screw holes) the mounting hardware was sturdier and the towel rail didn't wobble on the wall after installation. After all that has been said and done, I love the towel rail. It's functional and I love the style. But be prepared to work a little if you want it to be permanent. It took me some time to figure that out. Share so others can save time and hassle.
