I bought these shoes for my 4 year old daughter who is in her second year of minting. They appear to be slightly better than the Payless shoes and about the same price. For reference, last time I measured my daughter's legs, one was a size 9 and the other was a 10. I ordered a size 11 so they will last at least a year. As you would expect they are a bit big but she can dance in them and they don't blister or fall out etc. What I love about these shoes is that there is an elastic strap under the temple. which snaps into place so my daughter can put them on and take them off by herself. The bow is only decorative. I actually took them off because they slowed down the transition from flats to tap shoes during class and I'll just take them back to the concert etc. They are good shoes at a good price. I definitely would, but it's back.
