Updated: It's terrible. Batteries eat like candy and 2 are dead now. Avoid disappointment. Stay away! I bought the 6 Lite version. They are easy to use, the brightness can be adjusted, they can be controlled by the remote control or the lantern itself, and for the lighting you can turn on the timer. However, there are a few disadvantages: 1. The kit includes 2 remote controls, but you cannot program one remote control to work with some lights and the other to work with other lights. Both remote controls control all lights, so the usefulness of two remote controls is limited unless they are far apart. There is no locking mechanism between the lantern and its base. It slips out very easily. This somewhat limits the way they are set up and makes them prone to tipping - unless you build something yourself to hold them in place, which I'll probably have to do. I just got them so don't know what their battery life is yet and that's the main reason I'm replacing my current lights so I was hesitant to check them out now but I knew I wouldn't check them at all , if I would do it.
