Review on πŸ–₯️ Maximize Productivity with MOUNTUP Single Monitor Desk Mount - Fully Adjustable Arm Stand for 27 Inch Displays - VESA Compatible - MU0001 by Christine Bergseth

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Weak and useless monitor stand.

Not good for a 28 inch monitor. Even with a bright monitor, the range of motion is too limited. Some issues with the 28 inch monitor: It's not tall enough. The monitor tilts down. No matter how tight the screw is, it barely holds the monitor in the correct position. Any vibration on the table will cause the monitor to lose its ability to counteract gravity and tip down. It's too weak. The column will tilt up about 1/2 inch from the bottom, even when the clamp is tightened to maximum torque. Freedom of movement too little. It seems to be somewhere between a manual clamp on the column, a pivot in the middle, and the fact that the monitor would have enough reach, but that's not the case. You need a speaker attached to the table on the other side of the monitor. The arm is not flexible enough to move anywhere except on the extreme side. The arm can also be straight without a joint in the middle. The cumulative result of all connections is a lot of sagging and loosening. If you try to adjust the monitor, you'll immediately notice that it tilts forward and down with even the slightest touch. The clamp often comes loose on the table when you try to adjust it. Such connections often have nylon washers to allow the parts to be rotated without loosening the bolt. But if you move those joints, the bolt loosens as the joint rotates.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Worries me
