Just tell me what it is

how good this shirt is. It's not a very enthusiastic vote of confidence - it's not fantastic or terrible, it's just beautiful, like the rows of shirts in the average men's clothing store I sometimes shop at. When I get there, a lot of shirts are usually priced at fifty dollars, but there's rarely a day that they're not on sale, with sales on top of that, so if I get out there with a shirt, I'm usually paid around twenty dollars Therefore. That's the first reason it's just beautiful, it's being sold at full price here, and while I've paid that and more, the question is why, when can I get the same thing at half price or better. The second thing about this polo that turns me off is when companies try to hide what their products are actually made of to the point where what they are telling me just isn't true. Why are they telling me this shirt is silk when right on the product page it says it's 80% cotton and 20% tencel lyocell which is a portmanteau for viscose which is another way of saying bamboo, which is one of the most numerous weeds on the ground. But then the sewn-in label says 70% silk and 30% cotton, which I highly doubt as it doesn't look like a silk shirt at all. Another pun? The shirt is good. It creases easily, but the open weave is breathable. There are pros and cons, not sure if it's worth fifty bucks.

Pros
  • Classic polo cut, rib collar and button closure
Cons
  • boring packaging
