The plastic is fairly rigid so easier to insert in garden soil. Not enough twine if you plan on tying labels on plants. Tried to read print on markers to make sure they were "garden” markers but it was all in Chinese. Tested with water on label was ok but don’t know how they’ll hold up outside. They’re narrower and shorter than expected. The 4” is to the pointed tip end & they’re only 1/2” wide. There is an option for longer labels but not wider. Depends on how much you plan on writing on label.Overall though, they’re ok for the price.
