Review on ClevrPlus Urban Explorer Hiking Baby Backpack - Heather Gray, Child Carrier by Robert Corral

Not very comfortable

This is good quality for the price but I didn't find it comfortable. general. The maximum weight for a child is 42 pounds. I bought it with the intention of putting my 30lb 2.5 year old in it. Even after adjusting all the straps it seemed like it wasn't sitting high enough on my back. It felt like it was hanging low. I'm only 5ft 3in tall so maybe it's only for taller people. In addition, the straps dig deep into the shoulders. I also have an 8 month old 18lb that I also tried to carry here. Obviously because it's 12 pounds lighter I had to dig into my shoulders a lot less, but that puts it in the perfect position for tugging at my hair all the time. In terms of comfort, I'd say it's better for babies, not heavier toddlers. although he says he can carry up to 42 pounds. And I still prefer to carry my baby in a front carrier so I don't get my hair pulled. What I liked was the presence of different compartments to put things in. Because part of the backpack is detachable, I can still use it even though I don't use the entire carrier. Guess I'll just have to wait until the kids are older so go back to long hikes.
