Review on Enhance Laptop Performance with OImaster Adjustable Laptop Cooler - 3-Speed, USB Multi Function Cooling Pad for Laptop, Tablet and Phone by Jeff Bridgewater

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good buy if you have heating issues.

First off, this fan literally saved my laptop from a fire. Can't say more about the efficiency of its cooling performance, works great and is moderately noisy. Pros: As mentioned, the cooling performance is efficient. I'm using an older Dell Inspiron 7000-77778 with an 8TB SSD, 32GB RAM, an Invidia MX950 G card and a 2TB internal M2 SSD. Heat is a factor, but once I installed this fan the change was almost instantaneous. I game a bit, but mostly 3D and digital art, both graphics and CPU intensive. The fan kept warm without any problems. Cons (yes, there are): If you're mobile like me, this fan is a bit too big. Not unwieldy, but you need a little more room in your bag. You need a stable surface to use it. Cooling pads are easier to use, but they are very bulky. However, they fit in your lap, while this fan needs a surface to sit on. The suggestion I see is if there is a way to mount this on a laptop. It would also be nice to think about reducing it a bit. Maintain length, smaller body. The biggest drawback for me is the power supply. I like to plug it into an available USB port (mine is a Legacy 2.0), but the designers could have made it so that the cable that came with it was USB/USB instead of USB/male. That means if you lose the cable, you lose the fan. In addition, the battery capacity would not interfere. Overall, this is a solid purchase that I would recommend to anyone who needs more efficient cooling than a cooling pad. I had turbofans and they didn't cut it. Dressed, the heat subsided immediately. In terms of mobility, it works, but it depends on the person and their environment/working conditions.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Not sure
