Fashion Not Function

I'm in the process of choosing the perfect leather motorcycle jacket and tried on a few last week. I liked the look of the structured sleeves on this one, so I decided to give it a try. It makes a great cheeky look, somehow differs from every other motorcycle jacket, so it's a fashion hit. I especially love the draped neckline when fully closed. There is also a small hook on the inside of the open side to keep everything well in place when the zip is closed; I missed it at first, so the jacket wasn't hanging quite right. Using a hook smooths everything out and gives the perfect silhouette. A big disadvantage of this jacket is that it is not warm at all. The leather is soft and supple but incredibly thin, not cheap but allowing the jacket to drape beautifully. Still not ideal if you want to keep warm. Also, the textured leather strips on the sleeves are attached to some sort of see-through mesh under the sleeve, so you might not want to wear anything with the sleeves at all. It looks great, but again not suitable for heat. I like it, but I'm not sure yet if I'll keep it to myself. As cool as it looks, for the price I need something that looks great AND protects me from the winter chill, or at least a cinema air conditioner. Edit: I'm leaving this because I live in Southern California and it's so cute, but it's not my perfect motorcycle jacket so I'm still looking.
