It was tough at first, the chairs were quite difficult to assemble. I'm pretty strong, and it took me some serious effort to tighten the parts while trying to get the bolts in. I had one that was too bent to assemble. I contacted the seller directly and I was totally impressed with their responsiveness and personal attention. They really addressed my concerns and went above and beyond what I expected from a seller to ensure I was satisfied. Ultimately, the chairs are very stylish and durable, but some of the welds are sloppy and sometimes you'll find that the asymmetrical parts (ends of the legs) make them difficult to assemble without a lot of effort. I suggest taking it slow, hiring a helper and holding the parts in place until the screws are tight. Now that they are together in our new kitchen I love them and everyone is commenting on how amazing they look. But the customer service is probably the best I've seen at Revain. After all that, they even sent us a box of chocolates that arrived for our wedding anniversary! basic moments.
