Review on πŸ’« Vitality Essence Duo by Amanda Johnson

A very good starting layer for daily skin care is oil and water. Mixing

They say oil and water don't mix. Apparently they do. At least in this oil-water tonic. You must shake it before use to get an equal amount of both to distribute. It moisturizes while keeping moisture on the skin. In many ways, for me, it's more like a very thin oil that's applied to the face during the toner step. Or, if you prefer, right after using a more traditional toner. Due to the oil, it takes a few minutes after application for it to be absorbed into the skin. Afterwards the skin becomes very soft and cared for. From there you can proceed with the rest of your skincare routine. It is a very good first layer in skincare and helps keep skin supple for a healthy glow. Although it contains oils, it no longer looks greasy after drying or curing. It takes a few minutes, but really not long. To be honest, I don't know if you should continue your skincare routine before it gets hard or if you can continue while it's still wet. I'd rather wait, but it really doesn't matter much. A great way to prep your skin. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I have combination skin and it suits me very well. Perhaps the best option for normal to dry skin. Those with oily skin should test this first and see how your skin reacts. This may or may not be right for you. This essence contains salicylic acid which is perfect for oily skin but I still approach that with caution due to the oil factor. However, if you feel like you need some oil for your skin, this might be the way to go as it's very light. It appears to be intended for women but I see no reason why men can't use this essence as well as it looks like it would be good for them as well.
