This SportDOG e-collar set is just what I need when working with dogs. My setters are mostly mountain hunting dogs and when working with setters it is important to be able to reduce the level of stimulation. This product compares well with the Tri-Tronics Pro series with its 27 levels of stimulation. If you are a serious dog trainer this electronic collar/tag will do everything you need it to do. After reading the owner's manual last night, I was amazed at the flexibility to program the collar and receivers for specific dogs. One of the very nice things about the E-Collar Receiver is how lightweight it is. With the countless kilometers that the dog covers through the fields, every gram counts. This receiver is very light and compact. My puppy really likes this collar compared to his previous collar. At the moment my only complaint about the product is the overall size of the transmitter. This transmitter is much larger than I expected. Also, a way to attach some kind of lanyard would be very nice. After all, I bought this device to replace the transmitter that I lost while hunting grouse.
