Now my cat can go outside without having to keep opening the door! What would be better. The only downside I noticed is that sometimes the door doesn't fully close when coming back from outside, allowing other animals to follow her. It never happened, but I think it could be. durable, installation was easy and it only took my cat a few days to figure out how to use it. Good product. review update. So it's been around three months since I installed the PetSafe Staywell Door for my cat and I have some updated comments on the product. My five star rating still stands as I am still very happy with how well the door works. Twice already local raccoons have tried to get through the door into my room and the lock has successfully prevented their entry. The door is so tight that, despite repeated attempts, the raccoons were unable to wrap their claws around the edge to open it. I think that due to the relatively light weight of the door, extra weight is required to keep it closed. To the right. I put some weight on the inside of the door and it has helped it close tightly and securely every time my cat walks through.
