Review on πŸ›οΈ Ultra-Comfortable Therm-a-Rest Mesh Cot: The Perfect Bed for Outdoors by Hank Mistretta

it is as comfortable as my regular hard bed

Great! I go hiking with my motorbike. The ground on which the tents are set up is not always smooth. And my luxury mat still has lumps from the uneven floor underneath. So I tried this crib. It fits the size of my Therm-A-Rest blanket. First tried on the family room floor. WOW! With a carpet I feel as comfortable as in my normal bed with a hard mattress. We did a 15 day hike to Yellowstone, Teton, Rocky Mountains and Great Sand Dunes National Parks. (motorcycle tour). Slept like a baby every night. So good that I completely slept through the howling of the wolf in Yellowstone. (I wish I had missed it). There's a knack for putting it together, but once you've done it, it's easy. It is also very easy to take apart. The only issue I have is that the assembled crib fits into the Half-Dome 2+ with difficulty. You either have to collect it from the outside and pass it through the hole. . . or collect it in the tent and put it on its feet there. Both are difficult. But I wouldn't trade this bed for anything. Good sleep is very important to me on a motorcycle holiday. I disagree with the reviews that say the crib is too weak. Yes, this is a lightweight cot suitable for backpack carrying and motorcycle camping. This isn't your father's canvas and a wooden (indestructible) army shell. With careful assembly, disassembly and lifting/removing this crib will last you a very, very long time. I weigh 160 pounds. A friend weighs 220 and he did well too. And if a part breaks, Therm-a-Rest sells replacement parts.
