Okay first things first, it's pretty solid in weight, about 6.9 grams is perfect! The problem with these rubber steel balls is that they are NOT symmetrically round and also had cuts or abrasions on about 30 of the 99 rubber steel balls that I received. I don't mind missing a few balls, it's ok, but I'm not happy that the balls aren't quite round and there are cuts on them. This caused a jam in my Valken M17 Magfed and wouldn't even fit in my Lapco .684 barrel! I measured the bead with calipers and photographed the bead in the barrel with a small flashlight showing the backlit barrel. See the attached photos and decide for yourself whether you need them or not.
