Although I liked the look (although more copper than I expected) I almost returned it because I bought it with the proposed fan bulbs would have. I have high ceilings and I wanted the light to be higher. I thought other bulbs wouldn't work but another reviewer mentioned using a spare 50w LED bulb and it's perfect. It's smaller and doesn't protrude, and the LED bulb doesn't get as hot as other fan bulbs. I was concerned about how hot it gets even for a few minutes with a regular incandescent bulb. I never leave reviews but I need more information before I return these or shop for the right lamps so I hope this is helpful!
