I had a very difficult time removing the cover from the base. There are no instructions and I always thought I was turning it the wrong way round, but no, it's just really hard to turn it right the first few times you open it. It gets a little easier if you do this multiple times. The clip that prevents accidental spraying is also difficult to remove once you figure out how to use it properly. While it maintains a continuous spray depending on how many times you squeeze the pump, it also leaks at the base when the bottle is at an angle. I always tip the bottle whether I'm spraying plants or spraying my hair, so it bugs me. To keep it from leaking, I would only need to fill the bottle halfway, which means more refills. The spray has a large area and sprays well, but the bottle is cumbersome.
