Smells at first but works very well without causing irritation
So far I like this flea collar. We have two kittens and although they had a strong lemon smell it went away after a few days and nothing was too much trouble with that. I can definitely kiss her without having to deal with the pungent smell of a flea collar. I also religiously checked the skin of her neck under the collar first, just to look for irritation from the collar (I've had redness and itching in the past). with collars I bought at Walmart) and nothing! Healthy pink kitten skin, no fleas and two happy, sleepy kittens with no itch.
