I love it when my kids wear these shoes in the summer; I've been buying Keens for my kids for 3-4 years. They are perfect for kids outdoors as they perform well in all conditions - we can easily go from sand to mountains to water and everything in between. The sole is durable and has a good grip, so children don't slip. These shoes are comfortable enough for my kids to wear all day. They're also great shoes because you can throw them in the washing machine when they start to get dirty. I also appreciated how well they hold up. I can keep them after my children outgrow them and pass them on to other siblings. Last summer I tried to save money by trying other less expensive (but still name brand) shoes; They didn't survive the summer because they wore out too quickly! After that I realized that we will always be with Keanes!
