I am not a climber, but I know that climbing equipment such as ropes and carabiners can be certified by CE and other organizations. This certification ensures that tests have been carried out and that the equipment meets certain standards. Although I am not a climber it is obvious to me that this rope and carabiners are not certified in any way. First, there is no such certification on the box or label. Second, one of the carabiners is so poorly made that the threadlock sleeve binds when trying to tighten or loosen it. I feel like a climber doesn't appreciate what happens when you're hanging from a rock hundreds of feet in the air. Otherwise it is like a normal rope. I intend to use it for dragging, dragging, linking, etc. inanimate objects. I will not use it where my life will depend on it.
