Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

A soapbox that tries to be cool, but it's very bad at it. Bought for work for cases when a DSLR is redundant. Honestly, I'm very disappointed. I didn't expect such a poor image quality. I understood that an inch matrix is an inevitable loss of quality, but not to the same extent. Even in bright sunlight, the pictures are at the level of a cell phone upon closer examination. ISO 400 is already the edge, then just a catastrophic loss of detail, color and just wild soap. Canon has lagged far behind others in the field of soap and mirrorless cameras. He needs to do something urgently.

Pros
  • Small size when turned off. Pretty fast autofocus. It's all. Unfortunately.
Cons
  • 1. Disgusting angular body. No matter how you take it, your fingers stumble upon some kind of corner, a sharp edge, unpleasant material. Very unpleasant tactile sensations. What's the point in that? Did the designers try to make the camera look like old cameras? What for? It would be better if the camera was easy to use. 2. Inconvenient controls. The ring on the lens is narrow, it is inconvenient to turn it. Even if you turn off the clicks, you should not turn this ring when shooting a video, the noise will still be recorded on the microphone. 3. The lens is optically of very mediocre quality. I have a fairly old Canon PRO1. It has the same size matrix, but the lens is an order of magnitude better, although a little darker. 4. Dead battery. If you use the device to shoot video (which is unlikely, of course, see point 5), the battery does not last long. 5. Video is just terrible quality. Very low bitrate, as a result we have soapy soap. You don't need a video like this. 6. Incomprehensibly high price. For what? For this money, you can take either a cropped DSLR, for example, the Canon 750D Kit. Yes, it is larger. But, sorry, it will be a camera that is really nice to take pictures of. I won't even talk about the quality of the photo. Or, if you want more compact, take the same Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II Kit. Not God knows what, but the pictures will definitely be better, the difference will be very clearly visible. 7. Inconvenient screen. He goes blind in the sun. You can’t turn it to the side, you can’t close the screen to the camera so as not to scratch when carrying it. 8. Indistinct Wi-Fi connectivity - nothing at all. What for? Throw on the computer? Yes, I'll quickly take out the card and insert it into the computer. Throw on a mobile phone? My P20 Pro mobile phone takes better pictures.
