My hair gets tangled easily. I only apply it after I wash and wet my hair. It can make my hair a bit frizzy in some places but not all over my head. I prefer curling to breaking. As a result, my hair stays soft with minimal shedding. That's good news. I always cover my hair with a silk or satin wrap. I don't use it alone. Straightening still requires a detangling heat protectant. I have found this to be a useful product when serious detangling is required. Be careful when using henna with this product. I have found that amla is best used in oil or powder form in the henna production process. This will extend the life of the henna etc.
