First of all I want to be a smartwatch user today since 2012 with a pebble watch. And I have to say the watch is a bargain for the price, a bang for the buck, best value for money. This watch is comparable to aluminum Apple Watches in build quality, better than 5th gen fossils etc. Aluminum body, amazing silicone straps, plastic back and OLED screen with sharp edges. Remember, this is a $120 watch and I judge by that. No built-in speaker, no microphone. But that's not a problem for me, I don't use the watch to make calls. I don't care about apps because we don't use apps in our watches, the average person uses smartwatches for fitness, time, notifications. The notification interface is pretty crappy and there is no option to reply to text messages. There's 4GB of storage for music (less than 3 after updates) and you can use Bluetooth headphones. SPO2 and heart rate monitors work without tattoos. So it's not for me, and it's a deal breaker. With the Apple Watch reading the pulse with tattoos is no problem. How a fitness tracker does its job. The interface slows down due to the Huawei Kirin A1 processor, which is retaliation for an insane battery life of up to 14 days. While the Apple Watch interface runs smooth and fluid at 60 fps, the GT2E runs at around 20 fps, but not bad in exchange for an amazing battery. The Huawei Health app is fine, very simple and straightforward on IOS and Android. Always On Display is good, I wish there were more settings or watch faces for Always On. I live in the US and can download watch faces. I just created a Huawei account and was able to set the region to "China" and that was it. Problem solved. For $120 this watch is no problem.
