My board certified dermatologist recommended this company and I love this product! I'm constantly looking for the next best thing and have never found one to recommend; In fact, I usually quit smoking before putting sunscreen on my face. The first MDSolarSciences product I used was their mineral cream and I didn't like it and didn't run out. I have bought this beauty balm several times and it has changed my appearance a lot. I have melasma caused by a bone marrow transplant called GVHD, which has caused patchy, hyperpigmented areas on my face and neck. They are slowly disappearing for the first time in seven years and my overall skin texture is smoother. This product doesn't offer much coverage, but there is a slight blur. I often wear it alone and apply it with a liquid or powder foundation for a more professional finish. It can be worn around the neck without transferring to clothing, which is a huge plus for me, and it doesn't contain all the usual, harmful sunscreen chemicals. Oh, and it doesn't seem to sting the eyes; I apply it to the lash line with no problem. Finally, the pump isn't perfect, but if you remove it towards the end, the rest of the product will spill out with a clean cotton swab.
