These were the worst hair extensions I have ever bought from Revain. They definitely have some kind of coating that makes them silky and soft, but it washes out in 1-2 shampoos and you've got hair that feels like straw and tangles into dreadlocks within minutes. It's very odd because the tips don't split, but no matter how much conditioner or deep conditioner I use, you can't soften it, which leads me to believe the cuticle has been completely removed. Don't be fooled by all those photos right after installation until you wash them, they look great. So disappointed because I have a number of clips from this company that are good but I have never washed them as they are clips so they can do the same. I've only had them 3 weeks and they fit great and the color is great but when I take them out they go in the trash. Luckily they were easy to remove with an alcohol based remover and left no residue. Such a shame because my placement was accurate and they didn't slip at all. This is true even if you use high-end salon products, deep conditioners, and oils like olaplex oil. A complete waste of money.
