It smells like burning chemicals!
These smell like burnt chemicals. The smell is so overpowering that it hits you like a ton of bricks the second you open the box. I washed and soaked them and they still smell! When they were wet there was almost no smell so unfortunately I put my food in them and when they dried they smelled like chemicals again. I bit into the granola thinking it was out but it was tasty and now I have to throw all the food away. It is by no means safe to inhale or even eat. There are other reviews saying the same thing having experienced it. Save money and buy from another supplier.
