My throat is sensitive so I don't use it now just because I have a rash but to be honest it could be the new cream I've been using or a combination from both. This works very well if you have very sensitive skin and it starts to peel, limit use every other day. Overall it works great on the face, just make sure to keep it moisturized as it dries it out. I bought a really good face moisturizer which helped a lot considering I still have to wash my face daily or almost daily. I use it in the shower, first on the soft side on most of my face and then on the hard side on my nose for blackheads. I recommend just making sure you have face lotion on after leaving.
