This duvet is amazing! Soft and airy, but very warm and suitable for the autumn chill. I sleep cold so I'll probably put on a different blanket in the winter. When I crawl into this blanket, I'm definitely cold at first, but I always wake up warm, so believe in the blanket! I've been using this comforter (in a duvet cover) for a week now and it hasn't spilled on me. The duvet remains as fluffy as ever, no allergic reactions, no dust particles when aired for the first time. It's amazing and way cheaper than store bought comforters (read: big department store). I don't know if cotton really is 1200+ yarn, but it's definitely well above the standard 300 yarn with its smoothness. It is great. I'll try to remember to upgrade to see if it can handle colder temperatures. Edit: It's been a few months, still fluffy, still warm. :D Nothing has fallen out or stuck out of the duvet yet, so good luck! Addendum: 8 months. It's less fluffy. A total of 2 down feathers fell out (they stuck out a bit so I pulled them out). It's light and fluffy and for spring weather :D
