Fits Harley in Lights & Lighting Accessories

Installed the H4 version on a 2003 Harley Davidson Road King. He replaced Silverstar. Installation required slight removal of the orientation plate material to fit the body and I had to adjust the assembly to fit the bulb. This lamp is close in design to an incandescent lamp and is approximately 25% brighter. Edited: I did my first night ride with a new headlight and thought I'd add some more info. First I hold the light. unlike an incandescent lamp. Not bad, but definitely different. An important note is that the high beam is not brighter than the low beam on these LED lights. Both high and low use the same number and type of LEDs. The difference lies in their position and dimming to the low beam. The individual cutoffs on each side are probably the most significant difference from incandescent bulbs. They appear to be a little less efficient and the result is a little more light at the bottom of the round block of light. I drove about 50 miles on a mixed highway and country road. Nobody beamed at me, and in general the signs didn't shine that much. The signs were reflective at a distance of about 250-300 meters. I never felt like I was speeding as there is a lot of light going forward, even with low beam on country roads. Another positive difference is that the light output is always constant. At idle or at full throttle, a small voltage difference will not affect the light output. Overall I'm happy with the switch to these LEDs. Update: August 2019 No problems with the LED backlight to date. I made some adjustments and lowered the headlight aim. Otherwise it still burns brightly.
