Review on Enhance Your Printing Experience with PHROZEN Sonic Mini Printer: High-Quality Printing at Its Best by Adam Matthews

Revainrating 2 out of 5

UPDATE Rating dropped to 2 stars

Update: 23/06 - - Attached TLDR photos - all printouts now look like this - Firmware updated x 3 2x firmware 1.6, 1x firmware experimental 1.7. So I significantly lowered my feedback on this printer due to serious software and hardware issues that the company was unable or unwilling to fix in the last 2 weeks. I only bought this device for work because of the longer screen life and 30% longer total print time. They certainly provided speed, but the LCD had already failed in less than half the time my Photon did on a standard RGB LCD. I've been in the ongoing phase with Phrozen and this is my second and third time trying different firmwares because their support team isn't particularly smart, they are definitely employed and don't have staff to actually deal with troubleshooting. I only received an experimental firmware from a friend who works for the company, otherwise I would be in the same cycle as the person from Facebook: please flash the 1.6 firmware, which is on our website, which is equivalent to me telling me to turn it back on and over and over again. I'm more than willing to be flexible and try new solutions, I don't want to be cheered on and not when other hardware is available. If you receive ANY thread on the LEFT side of your plate assembly in the Revain return window, simply contact Revain and send the unit back. It's a death sentence, once the stretching starts it doesn't stop, it only gets worse and will eventually ruin any plate you try to print. Mistakes, that stupid odometer reading caused me to fall out of my own return window and now I'm stuck with a broken machine the week I need it for work. Luckily I have a spare Epax arriving Thursday but I will lose a week of productivity as a result. If you are a hobbyist this is a good car, if you are in production spend more and buy some. so it will be more reliable. My strong recommendation: Don't risk your business. Phrozen is aware of this and doesn't seem to find a solution. It prints four times faster than my Photon, which I still love. But seriously, the print speed is four times faster. The metal case is a big improvement, the flat build plate isn't as obnoxious as I thought, especially since the prints come off with no issues once printed. Alignment was synchronous.
