Review on Necessaire The Body Exfoliator Sandalwood by Crystal Palmer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sandalwood-free in scrubs and body care products

I love everything sandalwood. But it doesn't smell like sandalwood at all. It smells strongly of black pepper (the one you cook with). It has small exfoliating balls that do a good job of removing dead skin. And it lathers well the more you work. It uses AHA. So this is a product where you will see results over time. I'll wait calmly because I only use it on my shins and feet. I have to say that the price is NOT justified. There are drugstore brands that do the same thing but a lot cheaper. I assumed the high price meant it was a "luxury" product. I have no desire. Also, they made a mistake with the smell. I will use the rest of me. But at this price I will not buy. If you're buying it for the sandalwood scent, don't. You will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Two exfoliation methods - chemical and physical - work synergistically to exfoliate, soften and impart skin's new complexion: A gentle trio of AHA/BHA (glycolic, lactic and salicylic acids) helps remove dead skin. Cells, pumice and bamboo charcoal soften the skin without causing irritation.
Cons
  • Negative impression
