Review on Black Panasonic HDC-SD80K HD SD πŸŽ₯ Card Camcorder - Discontinued by Manufacturer (SEO Optimized) by Nguyn Quang Huy ᠌

Poor quality, not suitable for use.

My wife and I bought without comparing the characteristics. On emotions. Bribed appearance, weight, and of course the cost. I had to sell. I lost a little when selling, but now we own the HDC-SD800. The 800, although it costs twice as much, weighs a little more, but the quality of the shooting is completely different. I will add from myself. If you want not just video from the camera, but more or less high-quality video for viewing on a Full HD TV, then take a closer look at older models. For example, HDC-SD90 (TM90) or HDC-SD800 (TM800). It is better to pay a little more than to regret later on throwing money away for nothing. For those who believe that the SD-80 is the SD-60 receiver, I hasten to disappoint. The receiver of the SD-60 is the SD-90.

Pros
  • Compactness. Low cost.
Cons
  • Poor recording quality. Although I think that according to those. characteristics can be understood immediately. After all, a 1 / 5.8 "matrix with 1.5 MP cannot shoot with a resolution of 2.0 MP. But it would be forgivable if it were not for the magic inscription Full HD. How can FUll HD 1920-1080 be about 2 Mega pixels if the matrix is 1.5 MP?

Some pros: A good stabilizer. The battery lasts 2 hours. Different cons: Small strap. When shooting in the dark, the image "noises" a lot.
