When I first received this bag for work I thought it was perfect. Perfect size and number of pockets, not very expensive etc. Last time I bought a work bag was from Target about 15 years ago. It was a canvas and it held up beautifully until eventually the canvas thinned with use. However, this bag, while durable, began to fall apart fairly quickly. It's the perfect size for commuting to and from work and the pockets are just great. On the other hand, the crossbody/crossbody strap doesn't stay where you shift the length. It is constantly weakening, making the strap very long. Every time I record it I have to readjust. Also, the clips holding the strap broke fairly quickly. Just passed out. So I ordered carabiners and used them. The bag still worked. The carabiners attached the strap securely, but I still had to adjust the length every time I picked it up, but oh well. THEN the zipper broke. When I tried to zip it up, it popped off the already zipped part. So I tried to unzip and remake, and then the whole zip/zip mechanism completely broke free, making it impossible to zip now. This bag has been through a semester of work (I'm a teacher) and with a lot of hassle. I bought the Lands End bag on sale and am waiting (zipped wide open) for it to arrive. I hope that the overpayment is worth the money.
