I have a 7 inch Elvis 4K monitor but it's quite bulky and if you have to carry aftermarket Sony batteries you have to carry them, when you're filming more weight. I love Atomos, since the 5.5 inch size seems to be popular I went with this monitor (although obviously there is no recording function). I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality. It's a solid aluminum body with a gorgeous edge-to-edge display. It's 3/4 inch thick, but the Duran feels bulky considering the battery is built into it. Now I just did a four hour shoot with the monitor on all the time. Three hours. Not a bad deal because now I can just carry a 20,000mAh portable battery with a 120V outlet to keep it charged! I used it with my Canon EOS R camera and shot 4K in IPB mode. but there are so many options that cannot be written about. The display is also bright and I had no problem seeing it from the outside. The bottom has a standard 1/4"-20 mount. It's all aluminum so don't worry about stripping it. The accessories I got with this one are pretty amazing. The cables and Mounts individually would have cost $30.Overall I'm very impressed and happy with the purchase! It replaced my 7" 4K monitor ππ
