The current best option for MacBook Pro

After much testing, buying and returning some others, this is the best option for MacBook Pro. I tried a pair of Sandisk but they ejected halfway and couldn't complete the transfer. This reader worked straight away and could transfer photos instantly, it was fast and easy to use. I don't need a micro SD but there aren't any better options and it's still smaller than others even without a micro SD. I put off buying this Verbatim because there were so many complaints about it not sitting in place but I finally broke down and bought it and luckily it wasn't a problem at all. Being full is not a problem and maybe even an advantage. See photo - if you don't lay it flat but twist it the other way it will keep the cable's natural position and connect and adjust easily. The benefit I've found is that it's actually easier to load and unload cards in this position. It lay perfectly flat with the sandisk, but since you're trying to grab the tiny card on the tabletop and your fingers can't get under the card, it was too difficult to get the card out, so I had to lift the card. Device up or remove it completely just to remove the card. This makes it easier for you to grab the card with your fingers as it is slightly off the table. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but in the end not only was it more reliable, but the port location was actually simpler (and more compact). I hope this helps anyone like me who is having trouble finding a basic card reader after Apple got rid of it!
