This shelf "can" be safe when installed on a shelf or concrete. However, drywall installation is unsafe due to the location of the mounting screws located on the underside of the bracket, causing the shelf to become unbalanced due to the weight of the glass shelf causing it to immediately detach from the wall above. Bracket. The first photo shows an immediate pause after the installation is complete. In the second photo, I'm holding the shelf in the position it should be. Over time, this distance increases and the shelf becomes very unstable. It was installed CORRECTLY according to the manufacturer's instructions. I completely remodeled my bathroom so it was a very easy install. I'm just putting a box of tissues on the shelf and need to secure the shelf better so it doesn't fall off the wall and hurt someone. The problem is that the mounting screw is on the underside of the bracket and the glass top slides into that heavy slot, creating an instantaneous gap. Each bracket must have 2 mounting screws, or one mounting screw must be on the top of the bracket, not the bottom. VERY UNSTABLE ASSEMBLY. VERY BAD DESIGN!
