Review on πŸ—‘οΈ SUBEKYU 0.4 Gal Mini Countertop Trash Can for Office - Small Garbage Can with Lid, Desktop Wastebasket, Plastic, Light Green by Debbie Rossi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't realize how useful it was until I got it!

Like many people I have been working from home during the current 2020 pandemic situation. I no longer keep a trash can on my desk as I have what I like to call "garbage cats" because they dive into trash cans. I found that I often got up to throw out small items like a napkin or dinner wrapper. because I definitely don't want these things piling up on my desk. So I figured I'd just buy a small trash can that fits under my desk but has a secure lid and hope the cats don't find out. The problem is that they've taken care of the drawers and cabinets now. A little lever-lid trash can seems like a little test for such smart kitties. I'm looking for other options and this little container pops up in my search and I thought why not? When received it contained a roll of small pouches and an extra spare clip for the lid locking mechanism (it was loose and one of my cats actually found it before I did but luckily didn't eat it). The waste bin itself inserts into the product's white lid/lid. There are two small clips on the inside edge of the lid that allow the outer bin to be detached to dispose of rubbish and/or change the bag. The lid has a spring mechanism that releases when you press the front edge and snaps back into place when you're done. I personally think it's a great solution for those who do creative/art work at their desk. . Very handy for throwing away pencil shavings, scraps of paper, etc. Also good as a cooking solution for throwing away leftovers, egg shells, wrappers, etc.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Thoughtlessness
