Runs large but I could of definitely gone up a size since it was fitted on my baby girls chest but not tight to were it was uncomfortable. I got a 6-12 months and my baby is almost 12 months. She wears 18t, 21lbs and is about average height. So if your baby is thicker and heavier go up a size. The dress is absolutely beautiful. It looks like high quality like the ones from Nordstrom (I have ordered christening gowns before from there). I highly recommend!
