I had a pair of these 15 years ago when Sears sold them and it was the best splitter tool I have ever used. Then I stopped doing jobs where I could get splinters. Then I lost that tool (and it's fair to consider it a tool). Now I'm tinkering again and fetching splinters. I went to Sears to make sure they still had this item, but they didn't have it. I was very glad Amazon had them and I ordered as soon as I found out. They literally arrived the next day or two, and after a few days I had to pull the splinter out. They worked just as well as I remember 15 years ago. They pick up a splinter like no tweezers I've ever seen. I highly recommend this product. 5 Stars. thank you for reading
