Review on SUCK UK CARDBOARD TURNTABLE MIXER by Andrea Larson

Nice idea but really just overpriced foldable thin box - actual scratch area Very thin and small

I admit it's a cute idea. And if you do buy one, have your camera ready because you never know when your cat might actually appear to be "hanging up". But it is NOT worth the money and is not durable. I was very disappointed when I opened this item. At first I couldn't believe it could fit into such a small, flat package. But that happened because it's just a box that you put together and it has to stay together with the tabs that fit into the inserts. Some didn't even hold up and I had to tape them shut. Nothing bad. It has a creative design on the box and the round scratch area is rotatable. However, my cats (who loved ALL the scratching items) didn't accept it. After about 10 seconds of interest (which I think was mostly due to the catnip) they never touched it again. Both of my cats rip the poop out of ALL of their scratching toys except this one. They prefer REAL $10 boxes that have replacement scratch areas that you can buy if needed (you take the old scratch out of the box and put the new one in). They scratched their scratching post A LOT! They also scratched another round scratching object that I gave them (including a plastic "ball holder" placed all over the area to be scratched so they can also play with the ball, hit it and try to scratch it to catch, etc.). But they didn't like this one (or me). The round area they actually scratch is a lot smaller and thinner than I expected. Maybe it was because of his size that they never "picked him up". I didn't like this article either (and not just because my cats didn't like it). I would never spend that much money on a folding box. I thought it would arrive as pictured or with some assembly but I didn't expect it to be just a thin box with a DJ design. I was expecting something MUCH stronger and more durable. My cats have used it once - mostly just by sniffing the catnip I added. Almost scratched. I took some REALLY cute photos of them sitting on it (and my cat is twice the size of this thing!). He also loves to pose or rip boxes so I figured he would at least enjoy it. this (which I wouldn't mind since SOMEONE would have fun and get some good out of it). But ever since I got it, it's been sitting in my basement untouched. Perhaps this is the best article for a kitten. As I said, for some reason my cats ripped up all the toys I gave them except this one. And I was unhappy with how flimsy it is and that I paid so much money for a box that folds (and some parts of it don't even hold together). I'm sorry but I don't recommend this.
