Review on Nourishing Alcohol-Free Toner with Sebomide: Real Barrier Control-T, 🍃 for Trouble Care, Smoothing and Hydrating, 6.42 Fl Oz, 190ml by Jairah Brown

This toner from Real Barrier is called the Control-T Toner for a reason. While this is a pretty decent toner for all skin types, it's clearly a lot better for those on the oilier side of the pH spectrum. I have combination skin and sometimes I need extra T-zone help. This is the type of toner that really helps control sebum production and also helps shrink pores and reduce bacteria throughout the day. There are times I like to use this toner to quickly cleanse parts of my face in the middle of the day when I'm not ready to do all the cleaning work on my face. A simple wipe with a cotton swab or other face pad cleans up any mess and restores my face to those areas. I can't say I like the smell. It's not very strong, but some of those oil cleaning properties don't smell great. Doesn't linger and works quite well so it's worth a few minutes for it to last. While this toner is good for removing excess grease and dirt, it's not harsh. Actually, it's a bit on the soft side. It's also very lightly moisturizing, which is a trick to controlling excess oil. Should be good for most skin types, although it's definitely best for the oily half of the pH spectrum.
