First I have to say that I use my phone all the time when it's plugged in and I'm very bad with charging cables. Inevitably, the rubber on the end that goes into the phone will tear, or the metal tip will bend so it won't stay connected to my phone, or the metal connector will completely separate from the cable. I decided to try the nylon wrapped line and was a little overwhelmed by the amount available at Revain. I decided to narrow down this list by only looking at those that had the best combination of many 5-star reviews, very few 1-star reviews, and at least 100 total reviews. In the end, this cable seemed the most promising to me. and i bought it. You can tell right away that the braided finish of this cable is extremely durable but also very flexible. The coating also prevents the cable from twisting on itself, which I find somewhat annoying with the rubber sleeve. The metal connectors on either end connect securely to the cable and after hours of daily use for several weeks of using my phone with the cable attached, the cable stays connected to my phone as securely as it was on day one. Having been burned in the past, I was very skeptical that this was a "fast charging" cable, especially given its long length. I still have the Samsung fast charge connector that came with my phone and while I don't have a fancy charge speed tester, this cable charges about 40-45% faster than a regular cable. It's actually faster than the Samsung cable that came with my phone. This is definitely a fast charging cable. Without a doubt this is the best charging cable I have ever used and I recommend it 100%. **UPDATE** March 3, 2019 I ordered two different types of charging cables from two different retailers (one for Android and one for Apple). I had a problem with another seller's Apple cable, but I accidentally confused the seller and messaged the seller of that cable. Even though my purchase of this cable was well past the exchange/return window, this seller immediately offered to replace my cable for free. Luckily I realized my mistake before the seller sent a replacement, but I was impressed that they were willing to send me another cable no questions asked even though it was out of warranty! However, this cable has been used for months and looks and works just as it did on day one. I recommend this charging cable with even more confidence.
